Although having excellent functionality, the TransportPro controller is extremely compact and will be ideal for use where space is at a premium. It has been designed for optimum ease of use, with great care being given to the ergonomics of layout. All the most frequently used operations fall naturally to hand, making the TransportPro fast, efficient and a pleasure to use.
The centrally placed jog/shuttle is JLCooper’s much loved optical device that gives instant access to both jog and shuttle functions without the need for any other actions. The wheel is ultra fast and effective to use. Surrounding the jog/shuttle wheel are seven edit keys for marking and locating edit in/out points: these keys all have secondary transport functions. The five primary transport keys are above the wheel and edit keys; these include a REVERSE play function.
The edit preset keys for selecting the type of edit or record functions are located above the transport controls and below the LCD display, which shows the timecode location of the connected recorder and its current status.
Completing the keyset on the Transport Pro is a GOTO key: this is effectively a Shift function for the transport and edit-preset keys, converting them to a 0-9 keypad for entering a timecode location which the connected machine will locate to.
