Nixer Pro Audio – ISE (Jan 30th to Feb 2nd) Stand CS526
Nixer Pro Audio’s WL64-4 four-user cable-less audio monitoring answers the calls for new levels of adaptability, ease of use, resilience and space/weight economy.
Cost pressures and practical restrictions in Remote, Sports, Reality, De-rig or Flypack production demand more functionality and facility from ever-shorter kit lists of lighter and more compact hardware.

For simple-to-use and truly mobile monitoring, the WL64-4 monitor streams four independent monitor selections or mixes, derived from 64ch of Dante or ST2110/AES67 networks, directly to the Nixer iPad monitoring app.
The app features large selection buttons identified by easy-to-read text or an image of the person, performer or, perhaps, the instrument or location associated with that audio source. Each key includes audio level metering to help identify active sources. Alternatively, if the monitoring requires a mix of various sources, the in-app mixer controller gives each user fine control of multiple sources and the level they contribute to the overall monitor mix.
The resulting audio output can be monitored using the iPad’s built-in speakers or via wired or Bluetooth connected headphones or earbuds.
The direct Wi-Fi connections between WL64-4 and connected iPads form an independent network free from the “distractions” that might delay or interrupt a tight production schedule.
However, the WL64-4 connections can equally be routed easily via an on-set or facility wired/wifi network should distance or other networked requirements or tasks demand it.
Plus, to complete the range of connection options, the four monitoring outputs can be returned to the audio network for delivery to 3rd party monitoring systems or networked speakers.
