Swapping inputs or toggling outputs is an everyday requirement in audio production land:
Support act to headliner; Studio A to Studio B; Primary mic to Backup; Stagebox 1 to Stagebox 3. Whatever the reason, changeovers are inevitable, whether part of the show, the schedule or in an emergency.
